Do you have a cancellation policy?

Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. Appointments made on the same day must cancel within four hours of the appointment time, or this will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
The best way to reschedule or cancel an appointment is to call us at 469-737-8691 during salon hours. If it's outside salon hours, then emailing us at booking@cuttingedgehair.com is also a great way to get in touch with us.

All of our stylists, no matter the level, are highly trained and educated in both color and cutting, and have completed the Cutting Edge Hair Associates Program.

A highlight service focuses on the roots, meaning the lightening starts from the top. Highlights require more maintenance than balayage. A balayage is more rooted, so the lightening begins lower on the head. This results in maintenance due to the growth of your natural hair.
What's the difference between highlights and balayage?
A highlight service adds color all over. A partial highlight service adds color to the ridge of the head and forward, leaving untouched parts underneath. A babylight service is a softer look, more of a blonde final look with little to no dimension and results in easier grow-out.

Can I get my hair colored when I'm pregnant?
Yes, you can get your hair colored at our salon if you're pregnant. At our salon, all of our colors are ammonia free.
